This week we have looked at a lot books and organized them by "stories" (fiction) and "informational" (nonfiction).
After we spent a few days organizing, we talked about why they thought the books were stories and why they thought they had information. They also used post it notes to label the books and explain why the book they found was fiction or nonfiction. This will take us into nonfiction/fiction conventions and what parts those different books have (i.e. table of contents etc).
