Today we seat scooted with our place value: 10's and 1's. They each created a number using pipe cleaners and beads. They had to identify the number and then tell how what digit was in the 10's place and what digit was in the 1's place. When I was explaining I was even called out! I said 10 was a digit and they said, no Miss Law, 10 is a number! Glad to know they were getting it! :)
