![]() This word study chunk will be a bit longer study than in the past. Many words kids see, hear, read and write involve these chunks. They can get confusing (as the class noticed last week) because many of those words have the same sound but different spellings and meanings!! (homophones) So we will discuss homophones, meanings and use many activities involving writing and reading to help this stick in our brain. We will create a little poster which the kids will be able to see and use for reading AND writing. If you see these patterns in real life, try to create a game or just point it out! Real life experiences help to teach these concepts too!
